「KFC Seminar」
Dr. Shirosaki presented at KFC Ceramics Research Exchange Seminar @Kyushu Ceramics Techno Forum, Fukuoka as award lecture.

「Inbound Program at UPM」
Undergraduate students visited Faculty of Science, UPM and introduced laboratory, their research, Kitakyushu city, TOTO company. UPM students introduced how to make ice cream. They also visited Beryl's chocolate factoryto know how is Malaysian industry. They made good relationships each other. Please continue it!

「SAES2019」
Dr. Shirosaki and all undergraduate student attended The 7th International Symosium on Applied Engineering and Sciences (SAES2019)＠University of Putra, Serdan, Malaysia as inbound program from Department of Applied Chemistry. Mr. Hatori had oral presentation, Mr. Sonoyama, Mr. Tsukijishin, and Mr. Hiura had poster presentation. Mr. Sonoyama received student poster presentation award. They met Sakura science members from UPM again.

We have a meeting with Inada and Iikubo lab. Dr. Toshihiro ISOBE (Tokyo Tech) had a lecture. Mr.Hattori had his presentation about current research results. After meeting, we had a party.

「Sol-Gel Meeting」
Dr. Shirosaki, Mr. Kumamoto and Mr. Hattori attended The 17th Meeting of the Japanese Sol-Gel Society@Tokyo University of Science, Katsushika. Mr. Kumamot and Mr. Hattori had short presentation and poster presentation.

Dr. Shirosaki，Ms. Albert，Ms. Sharip, and Ms. Zhai attended The 11th International Conferene on the Science and Technology for Advanced Ceramics (STAC-11)@Tsukuba（Tsukuba : Tsukuba International Conference Center, Epochal）and students had theri presentation.

The schedule was very tight but all was fine during the program. We look forward to seeing new members next year.

「SAKURA Science 6d」
Each group prepared their final presentation with farewell party. Taiwan Tech students reported the winner from Plasma Jet design. All student enjoyed together during this program.

「Hirameki☆Tokimeki Science」
We organized Hirameki☆Tokimeki Science for junior-high school students. Dr. Shirosaki and Dr. Kikuchi (NIMS) had lectures about biological materials for biomaterials. 8 students tried to prepare chitosan based fiber with ours. They enjoyed the experiments with university students.

「SAKURA Science 5d」
We tried Yukata by Muromachi Komon and had experiences "Sado" and "Ikebana-Kado" at Kokura garden. They prepared their own works based on the example by instracter. And they also prepared the reels for junior-high school students.

We visited Shabon-dama Soap company to lear how to produce natural soap. In the afternoon we visited laboratories (Miyazaki Lab. Iikubo Lab. Ikeno Lab. Maeda Lab. Ikeno Lab. Ando Lab. Kawahara Lab.) at Wakamatsu Campus.

「SAKURA Science 3d」
Students visited laboratories (Nakato Lab. Ohno Lab. Yamamura Lab.) at Department of Applied Chemistry in the morning. And then we organized "The 6th Seminar for Young Researchers" and invited Dr. Akiko Yamamoto (NIMS), Mr. Masatomo Takahashi (NOF Corp), Prof. Masaya Yamamoto (Tohoku Univ.) as lectures.

We organized 2019 SAKURA Exchange Program in Science by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). This is 2nd year. Kyutech students did the orientation and each university student introduced themselves.
